GHSI

Who we are:

A University of Houston student organization that gives students the power to coordinate and conduct their own humanitarian service trips at home and around the world.

What we do:

We want to cultivate a spirit of creativity and individuality when it comes to humanitarian work. We encourage our members to come up with their own ideas for projects and provide the support they need to make them a reality.

Our motto:

As a politically neutral organization, our mission is to gather and use our resources effectively in order to relieve afflicted populations to the best of our ability. Our motto ‘Humanitas Absoluta’, “Humanity released,” effectively symbolizes our mission by acting as a proclamation towards the preservation of humanity as a whole.
